Travel agency KOMPAS
Moving an office in the centre of Prague can be a difficult task, especially when it’s a travel agency with nearly 300 employees. We successfully relocated the equipment of KOMPAS Praha spol s r.o. to a place with poor accessibility. We took care of the disassembly and reassembly of office furniture, carefully packed and moved IT and electronics, transported the personal belongings of employees and took care of the company’s documentation. Thanks to the quick and trouble-free move, the company could again fully focus on its clients’ movements.
Probation and Mediation Service
In October we received a very interesting project for the Probation and Mediation Service. The move was somewhat unconventional – upon agreement with the organisation, we worked with prisoners convicted of minor offences in addition to our movers. The prisoners already had good experience with moving and they did their part of the job very well. In conjunction with our professional movers, the project went very smoothly and all of the items arrived safely at the new location. Thank you for this unusual/new experience.
CzechTrade
It took us all of August and September to move the headquarters of the CzechTrade company. Since it was a really demanding project with a wide range of tasks, we first prepared a detailed schedule and planned the move to the last file. We moved everything from IT and electronics to personal belongings and company documents, of which, as is the case with the authorities, were countless. We took apart all the office furniture on site and put it back together after moving. The highlight of the move was an extensive archive, which already rests safely in the new premises.
PRESCO Group
PRESCO Group presented us with an interesting challenge in April. We moved all of the agencies that had previously been based in different locations around Prague to a shared address in Prague 8. The small and narrow streets hindered access to the buildings, most of which were old and lacking elevators, but were full of things. Therefore, we first moved the new furniture, which we assembled, set up and prepared for use at the new location. After moving the remaining things, we took the old, discarded furniture from all of the agencies and ensured its ecological disposal.
PRAGUE SOCIAL SECURITY
Over the course of February and March, we relocated the Prague Social Security Administration within the “ball lightning” project. We moved employees among three branches in Prague, which was a very demanding undertaking due not only to the anti-pandemic measures. We handled office furniture and employees’ personal belongings, but the biggest challenge was moving the archive and files. We moved this tremendous amount of documents in a special secure mode, so not one sheet of paper escaped from the files. We safely delivered everything to the new place without losing or damaging a single item and we adhered to the specified schedule down to the second.
