The turbulent year 2021 was also reflected in our work. Against the background of the global pandemic, our company faced new challenges and a greater demand for moving. Read how we grappled with everything and what's new with us.

WE MOVED ALMOST ONE FIFTH MORE IN 2021

Last year we realised 18% more orders than in 2020. Demand has especially increased for our moving flats and houses services. In addition, customers also showed greater interest in the storage of shipments. We have stored 2× more orders than in the previous year. Our clients primarily appreciated the fact that the warehouse is heated, well secured and directly in our complex, thus under our constant supervision.

WE TOOK A LOOK AT HONG KONG, WORKED WITH MINISTERS AND PRISONERS

In 2021, we moved many households, companies and institutions. In Prague, for example, we moved out the old ministers and moved the new ministers into their offices, including the Prime Minister. Under strict control and maximum security, we also moved the archive of the Ministry of the Interior. But we also had a look abroad. For example, we took care of a move from Hong Kong to Prague for a Czech Television cameraman. On all the continents that we have visited in recent months, we have followed the anti-epidemic measures.

A new experience for us was moving the Probation and Mediation Service. In addition to our movers, we also worked with prisoners convicted of minor offences. Everything went very smoothly. The items were put into their new places safe and sound and we were delighted with the good work done.

WE HAVE INNOVATED THE PACKAGING. NOW EVERYTHING IS FASTER AND ITEMS ARE BETTER PROTECTED

The rising prices across almost all sectors have affected us as well. However, despite the price increase for almost all cost items, we have managed to modernise and speed up the packaging process. For example, we now store dishes in specially manufactured boxes with foam ribs. No paper packaging or bubble wrap - we just put the dishes in the prepared spaces and we're done. We move mattresses in new protective bags that are superbly resistant to water, dirt and tearing. We no longer have to worry about time-consuming packing in stretch film, which we had to use a large amount of to achieve similar protection. We also stopped using plastic adhesive tape and now we stick everything together with paper tape only.

Last year, we also moved into a modern complex, where we have larger, perfectly-equipped storage areas and a pleasant environment for dispatching. We are glad that our staff have a better background and that we have managed to keep a quality team with many years of experience together.
